"Like, let me tell you something that just happened recently, right, you know they just did the tenth anniversary photo shoot for Rocawear?, So they called me to come down there and do the picture or whatever. The Rocawear people tried to pay me, like they had a check for me at the photo shoot. And I'm like, 'Nah, I can't take that check.' I think the check was like for between I think like $7,000 to $10,000. And I'm like, 'I can't take that check.' And the dude he like, 'Yo, why not?' I'm like,'"Nah 'cause this my homie's company. Why my man gotta pay me just to take some pictures? Like, this my n*gga! We from the [same] projects. You don't have to pay me. [Doing] this is nothing.' So then Jay called me the next day like, 'Yo Bleek, why you ain't take the money?' I'm like, 'Yo Hov, that's like me stealing from you, just taking money from you, c'mon. What I did for you yesterday took 15 minutes out my day, you don't have to pay me for that. I'ma get the money some other way.' Lloyd addresses Young Money rumors

Undoubtedlty Young Money and Lloyd have a hit on their hand with "bedrock"; the cohesion, the chemistry was all evident. With that comes the rumor and speculation- is Lloyd signed to Young Money or not. That has been on a lot of peoples mind, I cant lie I even considered it. Add to the fact that we havent seen any Murder Inc. influence on Lloyd's appearances, and I do remember an interview on the radio this year where Irv Gotti said Lloyd does his own thing. But- as we know how the music industry goes, and last time I checked Universal signs the Murder Inc checks- thats a connection with Young Money/ Cash Money right there. Well to get the facts straight from the horses mouth, Lloyd addressed it himself:


"Ah man. That's easy. I'm just a good friend to Wayne and Baby," Lloyd revealed in an interview. "I respect them. I respect their grind. I respect their minds. So they brought me in to be designating; to be the [designated hitter]. They wanted a hit and they brought me in. We came up with something that was dope in 'Bed Rock.' We'll be performing it for the first few times coming up. We're just doing us. It's good to be around a crew of talented young brothers."

He also addressed rumors of him leaving Murder Inc. for Young Money. "I think that's the question on everyone's mind," Lloyd said about the possibility of signing to Young Money. "No, I wasn't offered a deal, uhm, if anything I think about it because I'm big fans of their work and we all good friends. We've worked [together on songs] a lot in the past, you know, we broke bread together and I think a lot of fans would probably want to see that happen. I just wanna win, I just wanna be successful. I think wherever I go, I'm gonna be successful."

Album Release Party turned violent

One half of Atlanta rap group The YoungBloodz', Sean Paul was arrested in Atlanta yesterday (December 22) morning for disorderly conduct. Sean P, born Sean Paul Joseph, was hosting a mixtape release party at Atlanta hot spot Tongue and Groove. Details are sketchy but as the party spilled over into the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday morning, an incident occurred and the rapper was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery charges. The battery charge was later dropped.

Good Deeds

Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo has teamed with Atlanta Falcon's Defensive End Chauncey Davis to giveaway bikes this holiday season.



Davis’ Bike For Life initiative encourages young children to remain physically fit and fight obesity through exercise and education.



Shawty Lo will be joined by various Atlanta Falcons players, sponsors of the event and the 92 children who will be the recipients of the bikes, on Tuesday (December 22).



"I'm more than happy to donate bikes for Chauncey Davis' Bike For Life initiative as a way to help kids stay active and healthy," Shawty Lo told AllHipHop.com. "As a diabetic myself, I appreciate all of Chauncey's efforts in the community to promote diabetes awareness. I also understand the importance of educating young people early on and encouraging them to get the proper exercise to maintain a healthy weight."



The event is even more personal for the rapper, as his mother, father and grandmother suffered from diabetes and had to continuously monitor their weight.



"Anything I can do to help fight this disease, I am more than willing to lend my time and resources," Shawty Lo said.



The Bike For Life giveaway takes place December 22nd at 2:00pm at the Manuel Maloof Auditorium in Decatur, Georgia.

William James Dennis pleaded guilty to wire fraud and prosecutors say the 42-year-old rapper posed as an electronics salesman for a company called Texas One Wireless. This morning (December 18) the southern rap pioneer appeared before District Court Judge Gray Miller and confessed to establishing credibility with international buyers using eBay. Willie D was indicted on 15 counts of wire fraud, and The Department of Justice maintains that 29 people were defrauded of about $132,303.

judge Shane Sparks has been arrested in Los Angeles and charged with 8 felony counts of child molestation, TMZ is reporting. The Los Angeles Police Department took Sparks into custody at 8 am PT Friday morning. According to the criminal complaint, the alleged incidents began occurring in 1994 and involve one victim, an under-aged girl.

The complaint accuses the 35-year-old Sparks of engaging in acts "with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [the victim]."

Sparks is currently a judge on So You think you can Dance. He has since posted bail and is fighting the charges to the utmost.

R.I.P Brittney Murphy

The 32-year-old starlet who got her start in the movie "Clueless," died Sunday in Los Angeles.

The troubled screen siren and singer went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday and could not be revived, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

It was her beloved mom who discovered her unconscious in the shower, according to the Web site TMZ. When paramedics arrived just after 8 a.m., they immediately began administering CPR and rushed her to nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m., Cedars-Sanai spokeswoman Sally Stewart said.

Murphy became a household name among teens in 1995 as the sidekick in "Clueless" who went from awkward wall flower to snotty hottie.

"Those people, they don't really know me, you know what I mean, like that...to, to even say nothing about what I’m doing with my personal situation when it comes to Brat. When Brat come home, all I know is I’m gonna be the person that takes care of her, make sure she get back on her feet, and do what they gotta do. They not, so they shouldn't even worry about that. they should support her and go see her. but they should never speak my name in they mouth. they don't have nothing to do with me. basically, for real. When you say that, you talking about somebody else. that's just like everybody talking bout tiger woods. we know nothing about the situation, everybody should shut up. do what you do, if you gonna support the situation then cool, but don't speak on me not going. The Winter 2010 issue will feature a "Greatest Stories Ever Told" cover story. Michael Jackson, Dave Chappelle, and Rick James will also tell their "greatest stories" in the issue. The magazine cover features supermodel Rosa Acosta. Inside are the lovely Shakur Sozahdah, Bria Myles, StarFace, Marisa Elise, Sasha Del Valle, and Briana Loyd.

My main man Gucci is hard at work- with a couple things on deck for 2010...The State vs. Radric Davis is in stores now...forthcoming for the New Year is:

"I got an album coming out April 2010," Gucci said. "It's called The State vs. Radric Davis: The Appeal," he said. "Seventeen tracks. It's already recorded, getting mixed and mastered as we speak. I'm dropping a trilogy with The State vs. Radric Davis. When I get out, I'll be working on the third part to the trilogy. The final [will be called] The State vs. Radric Davis: The Verdict. That'll be [in stores] December of 2010."

Gucci also revealed that he and former friend turned foe, Young Jeezy will be appearing on the remix of his latest single "Heavy".

DJ Drama cranked out a heavy flow of projects in 2009, all while maintaining his Gangsta Grillz radio show on Atlanta's 107.9 and which is broadcasted on satellite radio. This Year Drama collaborated with other DJs such as Skee, Scream and Holiday, R&B star R. Kelly and several hard core rappers such as Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti. Even established artists like Wyclef Jean and Soulja Boy dropped Gangsta Grillz projects. Drama's Gangsta Grillz radio also had its biggest year in 2009 showcasing Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Diddy and the on-air reunion of the Goodie Mob. In the related video section below, you can listen to the recent show where Jeezy squashed his beef with Gucci Mane. In 2009, the front man of the Aphilliates drop his second album, Gangsta Grillz: The Album Vol. 2. The self titled "Mr. Thanksgiving" will assist Fabolous in releasing There Is No Competition Part 2: The Funeral Service.

Leak it..we switch it up

Lil Wayne's rebirth album was pushed back but somehow some of it got out to about 500customers-through Amazon mostly. With that being said, there was concern that the leak would affect his first week sales when it does officially drop in Feb 2010. No worries says Mack Maine, the Young Money President went on record with this via twitter-
