That right there is kinda crazy; always bugs me out how you give some people 15 minutes and they can put their foot in their mouth or show their true colors. SMH Chelsea definitely went too far with this one.

Chad Ochocinco is @ it again, this time he's gotten the sexy Evelyn Lozada's feet off the grown. Not long after the courtship of he and Cheryl (partner on DWTS) ended, he has taken to the accompaniment of "Basketball wives" actress Evelyn; She tweeted,

"I'm no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!! Let the hating begin ▸▸▸▸▸▸▸ Let's go!!!!! *Wink* "

Publicity Stunt? Maybe. Never can forget the importance of BRANDING....Ocho Cinco hasn't and Im sure he's got more tricks up his sleeve.

Influential to Say the Least

You know you are really making your mark, when your influence transcend expectation. That much and more can be said about Jay Z and Kanye West who are at the top of Diane Keaton's list of desired collaborations, as she is opening up about her desire to be a rapper. She recently co-starred with 50 CENT in a movie entitled, "Morning Glory" which features a variety of celebrities including Harrison Ford, Rachel McAdams and Patrick Wilson. The movie centers around a TV morning show host named "Colleen Peck," who takes on outrageous assignments to stay on the air. In the movie Keaton even flows alongside 50.

"When speaking on her lust for Hip Hop Keaton said, " I do have a daughter who is 15, and that made it even more humiliating because she thought I was just such an idiot. And she wasn't wrong, That's my rap debut and that's the end of me as a rapper. I won't be working with Kanye, or Jay-Z. They have not called. I would like to. I'm available, guys."

REDMAN down with the WU

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Redman has revealed that he his now a member of legendary Staten, Island Hip-Hop group, Wu-Tang Clan.

The Jersey City, Jersey rap star is currently on a tour of Europe, where he is promoting his upcoming album Reggie.

According to Redman, he became the official, 11th member of Wu-Tang Clan around 2005.

"I am a Wu-Tang member and Method Man, he been a Death Squad member way before I was a Wu member," Redman said. "I was like a Wu member but I wasn't official. But E. [Erick] Sermon made him Meth a death squad member back in the day. I became a Wu member about 5 years ago. I am the 11th member of Wu."

Redman confirmed that he is already hard at work on several projects for 2011, after the release of his next album.

"The Black Out 3 is coming, Muddy Waters Part 2 is coming and How High Part 2 is coming. But remember, Universal owns the motherf**king rights to How High. They own the names, they own the characters, they own the whole f**king s**t. If Red and Meth do a movie, we might can't call it How High. Only person that can get us out of that is Keenan Ivory Wayans."

Redman's latest album Reggie is due in stores on December 7th.

CONTROVERSY SELLS

The rumor mills is buzzing that the powers that be over @ BET are taking one more step away from what it is supposed to stand for. Can anyone take a guess what that should be? Well plainly put, its well known that BET has picked up TV show "The Game" which is returning with all new episodes. It has gotten out via many outlets that the station feels it necessary to pay white-actress Brittney Daniel more than everyone else. Last time I checked she was not the star of the show, so what could that be about? I cant figure that one out, but what I do know is that is not sitting too well with the already very critical public.

(courtesyofMediaTakeOut.com)

Tia Mowry (as Melanie Barnett) – $50K per episode
Pooch Hall (as Derwin Davis) – $40K per episode
Coby Bell (as Jason Pitts) – $35K per episode
Wendy Raquel Robinson (as Tasha Mack) – $35K per episode
Hosea Chanchez (as Malik Wright) – $35K per episode
Brittany Daniel (as Kelly Pitts) – $75K per episode

Today BET issued this statement:

The recent report regarding certain members of the cast of “The Game” being disproportionally paid by BET is completely false. As a matter of policy, BET does not engage in public discussions about salaries or similar private matters with its artists. However, out of our deep respect and appreciation for the talent and hard work of the entire cast and crew of “The Game,” we cannot allow such inaccurate reports to go uncorrected. To be clear, there is no disparity in salaries among the cast of “The Game.” We continue to look forward to bringing new episodes to the loyal fans of this series on 1/11/11.

Just imagine. And when everyone seems to have something to say including comment on things they know nothing about - i.e. the reasons for the split; you do things like show @ games "Spiked out" (courtside that is). Now yeah you cant forget that shes been around a few times, but in the loop who hasn't; Just think about the people you know. Ahhh, thats a brush off get used to it.

Letter to Kanye

Opportunistic at times yes, but sometimes our leaders can appear at the times when most needed. We all are aware of the turmoil which has been the past week, media wise, for Kanye after his appearance on the Today Show. Everyone has an opinion as they should; the one thing I promote on the matter is understanding. LIFE first and foremost, BUSINESS secondly, and empathy lastly but not least. Appearing to be choked up and unstable Kanye was a victim of BRANDING and the reality of having to be conscious when every move of yours is open to scrutiny and backlash. Diplomacy is not an easy task. Especially not when you want to be outspoken and say what you know so many people are counting on you to say because they cant. What would you do?

What have I done- supported and commended Kanye on his courage, his creativity and given him a pass for not actualizing everything necessary at that moment in time. To Whom Much is Given Much is tested. Uncle Russell Simmons recently weighed in with his opinion through an open letter:

Dear Kanye,

I have early recollections of Damon Dash calling me and forcing me to put you on Def Poetry Jam. I knew your record, “Through The Wire,” but I didn’t know much more. When you took the stage on Def Poetry Jam that night, and spit those genuine, heartfelt words, I witnessed your specialness that Damon had emphatically told me about.

From that moment on, you became a poet who has inspired the poets. I have proudly watched your career since then, and in case someone has missed the obvious, you are making a historical impact on music. Your life story took a tough turn with the passing of your mother. Although we grieved with you, we never really knew how much pain you were in. We witnessed your moment at the MTV Music Awards and many of us dismissed it as, “oh that is just Kanye being Kanye.” The hard part of all of this, is that we have all had moments in our lives that have been challenging, painful and hard to overcome, however most of us just hide our emotions and never deal with that inner-struggle that we face on a daily basis. As an artist, Kanye, you have always looked inside for your inspiration…always exuding emotions that are in us, but that we never expose. That is what artistry is about…to look inside for what is unique. With your journey towards a higher level of consciousness, a journey that we all are on, you have shown through your art a commitment to greatness.

The thirty minute film you most recently made was beyond brilliant. Brilliance is not a word that can even begin to describe your ability to paint vibrant, vivacious, colorful yet muted paintings of poetry, music, costume, art, design and most important, passion. The passion you put into your new album is why I stayed up all those nights in the early 80’s trying to get DJs and radio stations to play our records. I knew this day would come. Actually, maybe I didn’t know, but I really, really hoped it would. I didn’t work this hard when I was your age to watch the culture go the wrong way. And you, my friend, just took us to another level. I am simply in awe.

With this power, as you know, comes great responsibility. I am saying nothing you haven’t heard before. When you spoke about President Bush during the Katrina telethon, it was not the particulars of your words that mattered, it was the essence of a feeling of the insensitivity towards our communities that many of us have felt for far too long. It was the image of the President, our President, the President of the United States Of America, peering out the window of an airplane, as the people on the ground were drowning, that hurt us the most. For centuries, our people have relentlessly tread water as hard as they could to stay afloat, and here we were, literally drowning, and it felt like the President was insensitive. There is no need to apologize, Kanye. You spoke from your heart and that is all we will ever ask from you. Don’t be afraid of the press, as your art is your blueprint, thanks to Jay-Z, your big brother, we will always carry our destiny in our own hands. You are are an artist whose art is masterful. You are a servant to this world who no matter how hard it gets, keeps on giving. Giving gifts that inspire us, challenge us and motivate us to be better family and friends.

Keep on, Kanye. Keep on. We love you. We cherish you. And we will always have your back.

Bun feat. Drake

CLASSIC , FLAWLESS, and Human

Miss Jackson covers the December issue and opens up about battles with her fluxuating weight:

“When I did Good Times, they used to bind my chest because I was developing breasts at a young age… It immediately makes you think, ‘The way I am isn’t good enough.’ They thought I was too heavy and that I needed to lose weight. When I look back at the show, I was your average-size kid.”

Also she discusses her choice of acting over continuing singing:

“I have more of a passion for acting than I do singing, because singing comes so much easier to me. Acting is more of a challenge. I always say to people, ‘I’m really in the wrong business because I don’t like being in front of huge crowds, and I don’t like it when a lot of people are
looking at me.’”

Rather ROC than be a Bad Boy

Recently Jay Electronica was announced by Jay Z as the newest signee to Roc Nation. That came as somewhat of a surprise to Diddy, whom has built a good relationship with Jay Electronica- work and personal. They even dropped this heat rock called, "The ghost of Christoper Wallace"

Relationship solidified, Diddy figured the homey Jay would sign with Bad Boy, which fell short in favor a ROC chain. To vent, the homey Diddy went to twitter, and had these things to saying, "It hurts when someone you felt was your friend and betrays you." HUH??? Thats crazy; on a business and personal level I do not see where Diddy is coming from. Everyone has options, and maybe the boy Jay learned from the past. Lets be honest whose the last artist signed to Bad Boy that made it happen. Yeah the Bugatti Boys (he and Ross) got a buzz, but Ross was a star before that came to pass. Theres a big difference between Diddy the manager, and Diddy the executive asks anybody especially B.R. and G Dep

"Lost in Time" The Album

New album from Eric Benet..check out the new single featuring the beautiful and soulful Chrisette Michelle:

The Dynamics of Media

is that it can be arguably the greatest tool and the greatest enemy all at once. Which way it plays out cannot be determined with anything but hindsight. The average person is in search of their 15 minutes of fame ( cannot knock anyone for that)but you must always remember to be careful of what you ask for. You just may receive your 15 minutes and in that time span fame can turn to infamy. It has been well documented the ups and downs that have plagued Kanye in recent years. Nevertheless he is hard to overlook.

So much so that the giants such as "The Today Show" come knocking. Recently Kanye sat down wit Matt Lauer as (what Kanye intended) an opportunity to discuss growth, and promote his new outlook on everything from life to career, and I am sure- people. One person he may not have intended to talk so much about was former President George Bush and their on-running dispute over President Bush's initiative during Hurricane Katrina. As you may remember as a result of the subpar relief efforts Kanye labeled fmr Pres. Bush a races. When confronted by Matt Lauer Kanye seemed to be alot of things- some apathetic, some apologetic, but most of all IRRITATED by the strategy and questioning of Matt Lauer:

The images above represent Kanye's rant on twitter letting it be known how peeved he was.

The question I have is do you agree with my belief that Kanye wavered too much. Normally a definitive orator, Kanye seemed rattled and caught between man-ing up for what he said and trying to save face. Its one thing to admit when you may have been hasty with your opinion. But as a voice of the people, a respected voice, you can not admit to putting your foot in your mouth when you did it so effortlessly. Call a spade a spade you think?
